World Missions

Wycliffe (Bible Translators) (Matt and Christy Taylor - New Guinea)

This ministry reaches those people in remote places of the known world for the purpose of developing their own language. Once their language has been developed they develop the Bible for them to read and study. It may take many years to develop their language, therefore, the missionary needs to be committed to this task and have the love of people. We are in the process of translating the New Testament and portions of the Old Testament into the Nukna language of Papau New Guinea.

Freedom in Christ (India - Isaac Manogarom)

Freedom in Christ exists to glorify God in equipping and resourcing the Body of Christ to enable every believer in his journey to understand his identity in Christ, experience the true freedom from entanglement and be empowered with the message of Grace to disciple others and live an abundant Christian life.

Emerging Young Leaders (India - Samuel Balachander)

This ministry is designed for committed Christian leaders who desire to love God more deeply and have a greater impact on the lives of other people in India. EYL challenges these leaders from around the South Asian countries to interact with God in life changing ways. They provide training to assist all people to become strong in faith by showing to others what Jesus has done for them.

Christian Mission Fellowship (CMF - Victor DeLeon - South America)

This ministry reaches the people of South America (Chile). They have planted a church in the Boca Sur community. Boca Sur is an urban poor area with all the problems facing any U.S. inner-city area. That ministry is now under its own leadership and moving toward self sufficiency. Our experience leading the Boca Sur congregation has given us credibility with other Chilean church leaders. Our vision has been to be a resource to churches and their leaders throughout Chile. In 2008, they will be developing three training modules that will be a resource to churches and they will present the training modules in five regional areas through the Bible institute where they help. God has opened a door for them to establish meaningful relationships with middle class Chileans in their area and have begun a Bible study from these relationships. Pam will continue her work on the coordinating committee of the National Women Conferences for the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ in Chile.

Venture International (Bruce Menser - Middle East and Africa)

Venture International exists to reach out to the Muslims of the Middle East and northern Africa. They attempt to bridge the gap between believers and non-believers in order to share the gospel of Jesus. The ministry also provides education, emergency assistance, food, housing and the basic needs of life. Additional programs have been developed to adopt families to increase the knowledge and compassion between the western world and the Middle East.

Word for The World (Augustine Asir - India)

This ministry reaches out to the non-Christians who are in India. About 94 percent are not Christians. They train the native people of India who then share the gospel to the local villages. The majority of people are very low income people with physical problems who may or may not have any medical treatments. Thus, disabled people and other people become castaways without any hope to live. But, this ministry reaches out to these and others to make known Jesus and the hope he brings to them.

Youth For Christ (Vijay Thangiah - India)

YFC/India exists to reach those young men and women in India who are non-believers of Jesus Christ for the purpose of educating and teaching them the true gospel. By organizing Men's and Women's retreats and other events, provides the opportunity for them to listen to those who have been a Christian for some time. Life style changes have occurred and many people have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. This country has over one billion people with only one percent who are called "Christians or followers of Jesus".

Campus Crusade (David Neibling)

David & Margo Neibling serve with International Leadership Academies, an international project of Campus Crusade for Christ. Within ILA, they serve as consultants, teachers, and members as they equip believers in other countries to establish and lead multiplying churches. They are currently working in Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Kenya and Ethiopia.
